What are the key steps for starting up a coating machine?
Release time: 2025-11-11
I. Preparatory Work
-
Cleaning and Inspection
-
Clear the waste fibers from the suction gun's waste fiber bag to ensure smooth fiber flow.
-
Turn off the shredder and the broken-ribbon detector switch.
-
Install the empty paper tube and secure it on the tube holder.
-
-
Materials Preparation
-
Insert the POY yarn bobbin into the holder base (with the yarn end facing inward and the unwinding end outward), ensuring that the center of the holder aligns with the thread guide.
-
Check the spandex yarn unwinding status: If the yarn end rotates freely when pulled, it indicates normal operation.
-
II. Splitting and Threading
-
POY Filament Treatment
-
Use the filament-suction gun to draw out the filament tip, thread it through the circular guide, pass it via the filament cutter and raw silk rod guide, and finally push it into the false-twist device.
-
Close the two roving rollers, ensuring the sliver is pressed into the leading wire hook.
-
-
Spandex yarn treatment
-
Using the suction gun alone to draw spandex filaments, which then pass through a double-roller cross-motion wire-guide hook (separating them from nylon filaments).
-
After merging with the nylon filament, they are jointly passed through the networker's guide wire and then the networker is closed.
-
3. Winding and Startup
-
Thread Path Confirmation
-
The filaments are drawn from the spinneret, wrapped around the auxiliary roller, and then pushed onto the raw silk spindle, after which the single roller nip is closed.
-
Immediately after completing the two Silk Roads in the same thermal box, close the box door.
-
-
Winding Operation
-
Press down the winding bracket to engage the friction roller, causing the paper tube to spin freely.
-
The silk strips are fed into the cross-motion box after passing through the break-detection device and wire guide, wrapped around the paper tube 5–6 times, and then the reciprocating wire guide is activated.
-
IV. Important Notes
-
Synchronization requirement: The unwind speeds of spandex and nylon filaments must match to prevent tension fluctuations that could lead to yarn breakage.
-
Hotbox Management: After starting production, ensure the hotbox temperature is stable (fluctuation ≤ ±2°C).
-
Safety guidelines: Do not touch rotating parts during operation, and after splicing is complete, ensure the fiber strands are free of crossings.
